Little Lion in three languages

My latest picture book for Frances Lincoln, written by award-winning author Lesley Beake, has already picked up foreign co-editions. Little Lion is now available in three different languages: Danish, Swedish and English.

The quirky and charming story was inspired by the tales of the Xam San ‘Bushmen’ of the Northern Cape in South Africa, first recorded by linguists Wilhelm Bleek and his sister-in-law Lucy Lloyd in the 1870s.
